Burgundy

A buttery nose from French oak carries through to the palate where it meets soft lemon. The finish is long and mouthwatering.

Delicate yet fruity on the nose with a hint of blossom and peach. The nicely rounded palate is very 'Mâcon' with underlying citrus and firm mineral tones.

Good structure with honeysuckle and citrus running throughout. A steely style that is nicely topped of with hints of almonds and honey.

A delightful nose mixes lemon and grapefruit with notes of acacia. The wine is well balanced in the mouth with peachy tones and a fuller style from longer ageing on the lees.

The fresh, unoaked nose of green apple and lemon also has occasional notes of mint. On the palate it is juicy with a flinty edge - unmistakeable in its roots. As M. Goulley says himself: "The name 'Chablis' is widely usurped on all five continents by wines which have absolutely no right to it. Be forewarned: there is only one true Chablis".

A beautiful wine with a complex Chardonnay nose that has just a touch of oak from just 20% of the wine being barrel aged. This crisp palate is concentrated and well structured with stone fruits in evidence and a hint of spice. Great value Burgundy.

A classic Pouilly-Fuissé; complex on the nose with yellow plum, spiced pear and buttery vanilla. On the palate the exotic fruit carries through with good structure.

The nose of this wine opens up nicely after a short breathing period to reveal floral and honeyed notes. Flavours of ripe stone fruits mix with a steely feel and a long and powerful, creamy finish.

This is a superb Meursault from one of the region's best producers. Many of the wines from René Monnier can be found in three star Michelin restaurants and it is no wonder why. The Chardonnay grapes used to make this wine are all from Le Limozin vineyard. They give a complexity on the nose and palate that combines peach and citrus fruit along with hints of cream and butter. Very elegant.
