Amarone Classico DOC, Tedeschi

From 30 year old vines, the grapes are harvested in early October and left to dry on racks until mid January thereby incurring a weight loss of some 40%. The wine is aged in Slovenian casks for 3-4 years and is full, rich, velvety and balanced. A robust wine full of savoury character with warming alcohol tones on the finish.
