About The Fabulous Wine Company

The Fabulous Wine Company is an independent wine merchant which was founded in September 2005. We operate from a converted barn in the beautiful North Devon countryside (our nearest neighbours are cows!).

We are passionate about our wines and have taken our time in putting together a range of carefully selected wines from all over the world which are suitable for every day drinking to special occasions. Our list remains fairly constant but as and when we find new wines which are interesting and exciting, we will add them to our portfolio.

Alongside our dedication to wines, we are also serious food lovers. Many of our tastings are geared towards food and wine matching and we have dedicated a page to some of the recipes with which we have matched a wine.  The recipes vary from canapés to full dishes and puddings and we will soon including some from some of the top chefs in the Devon area. Our aim is for you to try the recipes and their recommended wines so that you can enjoy either an informal tasting of your own or invite freinds around for a full three or four course dinner. Again, we will be adding more recipes and wine recommendations as we go along. It’s a tough job, as the saying goes…
